Caileen Makovec, LSW
Caileen is a Licensed Social Worker and a graduate of Monmouth University earning both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. She has experience working with children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and families. Her experience has allowed her to work with a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns such as substance use, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, defiant behaviors, gang intervention, and processing life changing events.
She is a firm believer in a strength-based approach and trauma informed care. Each person has their own path to success and definition of success. Therefore, each person’s treatment is completely different and individualized for them. Caileen believes everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life’s difficulties. It is also essential to have an empathic and nonjudgmental space where clients can process and heal. Caileen is committed to help each person find their path to happiness and ability to achieve their goals.
