Tasha Wehrenberg, LAC
Tasha is a licensed Marriage and Therapy Associate Counselor and a Master’s Level Intensive In-Community (IIC) provider. She is a graduate from Montclair State University with a Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialty in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Tasha has experience working in a variety of settings which includes schools, outpatient clinical, outreach and in-home therapy. She has a passion for working with children who might have school concerns, developmental disabilities or special needs. In addition, her experience has allowed her to work with individuals with anxiety, depression, behavioral and autism spectrum disorders, social skills, eating disorders, relationship struggles, and defiance.
Tasha believes that each client is unique and has different needs. An integrative approach to counseling is used to incorporate techniques from various theoretical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, psychodynamic, and solution focused brief therapy. She provides a supportive, positive, and empowering environment in order to help clients work through their struggles, emphasize their strengths and achieve their goals.
