Stacy Chia, LPC, LCADC,ACS

Stacy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC) and is a certified Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University where her studies focused on general counseling techniques and substance abuse counseling. Stacy has 12+ years of experience working with adolescents and adults in the fields of mental health and addiction.

Stacy’s passion is working with clients with substance use disorders and being an advocate for this population. She believes in working toward breaking stigma surrounding individuals with substance use and mental health disorders and focuses on creating a safe and welcoming space where their feelings and experiences are validated. Stacy utilizes different counseling strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness techniques, and a strength based approach in working with her clients. She believes that each client is unique and adjusts her style to best meet the needs of the individual. She has experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ population, and relationship issues.
