Paul Natoli, LAC
Paul Natoli is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and has his Student Assistant Coordinator (SAC) certification, both in the state of New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson
University in Madison, NJ. Paul has had experience in high schools, where much of his proficiency focused on LGBTQ teens, and advocacy for anti-bullying and social media awareness.
Paul has post masters experience providing counseling and outreach services for individuals and families experiencing mental illness, substance abuse, homelessness, behavioral difficulties, trauma, abuse and neglect. In early 2018, he has been an Intensive In-Community Therapist working with adolescents and their families with an emphasis on anxiety, depression, self-esteem and oppositional behaviors.
Paul utilizes several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Family systems and modifies his approach to the needs of the
individual. He believes that ensuring a trusting, genuine, empathic and understanding environment, will foster an alliance where the individual and/or family can freely and openly talk about their challenges, strengths and goals.
