Nicole Corapi, LSW
Nicole is a Licensed Social Worker in New Jersey and New York. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with High Honors Distinction from Hofstra University, and then went on to receive her Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University with a concentration in integrated health.
Nicole has assisted individuals, families, and groups in a variety of different settings including traditional outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, residential treatment centers, and programs for adults with various mental health conditions (e.g., substance use disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc.). In addition to training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care, Nicole specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders. She is particularly passionate about helping adolescents and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.
As a clinician, Nicole practices using a strengths-based, integrative approach to treatment. She believes in meeting the client where they’re at and accommodating for their individual style. Nicole aims to create a strong therapeutic relationship in which the client feels safe, validated, and empowered to achieve their goals.
