Minelba is a licensed Associate Counselor who graduated from Nyack College in New York. She has gained experience working in out-patient as well as telehealth and in-home therapy. Her biggest strength is her experience working with different populations to include children starting as young as four years old, pre-adolescents, adolescents, and adults. She is fluent in Spanish and English and worked with immigrant, Latino populations. Minelba’s focus is to help individuals that struggle with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment issues as well as diagnosed personality and mental health disorders.

Her approach is integrative based on each individual’s situations and preferences. The therapeutic techniques she uses include play therapy, art therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family-based therapy. Minelba works in a collaborative manner which helps individuals to overcome challenges and trauma, enabling them to understand themselves so they can reach their maximum potential.
