I am a Licensed Social Worker with a master’s degree from Rutgers University with a Clinical Concentration and a certificate in Child and Adolescent Well- Being. I have experience working with children and adolescents with different levels of care in outpatient and school settings. One area of specialty is working with children/ adolescents with developmental disabilities. Additional areas of expertise include working with peer relationships, complicated grief, depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns and social anxiety, and autism spectrum disorder.
I utilize an integrative approach to counseling to include different strategies and techniques to meet the specific needs of each client. Approaches include Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Play Therapy and Strength-Based approach. It is important to me to provide a safe space for clients. I find creative ways for clients to maximize their potential to help them reach their goals.
