I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree from Rutgers University with a concentration in clinical social work practice and a certificate in Child and Adolescent Well-Being. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and adults in different levels of care including outpatient, school settings and medical settings . One area of specialty is working with children, adolescents and young adults with anxiety, depression and managing peer relationships. Additional areas of expertise include working with trauma, social anxiety, complicated grief, autism spectrum disorder and behavioral concerns. I utilize an integrative approach to counseling to include different strategies and techniques to meet the specific needs of each client. Approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Play Therapy and Strength-Based approach. It is important to me to provide a safe space for clients and find creative ways to maximize their potential to help them reach their goals.
