Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and School Counseling Certification from Centenary University, NJ. Jessica is particularly passionate about working with adolescents and teens in areas such as anxiety disorders, depression, peer relationships, self-injurious behavior, crisis intervention, and stress management. Jessica has assisted individuals in a variety of settings such as: in-home, schools, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs. She has extensive knowledge and background in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and strives to create a therapeutic environment in which they feel affirmed, supported, and empowered.
Jessica believes a strong rapport and therapeutic relationship is of the utmost importance when working with a client. She utilizes techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based approach, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy. She provides a compassionate, caring, and nonjudgmental environment for her clients to help foster the growth and change they are seeking.
