Jamie is a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey who received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from William Paterson University, followed by her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Jamie’s clinical experience includes providing treatment to individuals with depression, anxiety, suicide risk, social relationship issues, self-esteem, and stress management. Jamie has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a community mental health outpatient setting.
Jamie provides individualized treatment using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and a person-centered approach. Jamie believes creating a safe, non-judgmental space is important for the therapeutic relationship and treatment of the individual. She uses compassion and unconditional positive regard to create this environment during her therapy sessions.
