Ebony is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in NJ with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and a Post Master’s Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Drexel University. Currently, Ebony is a doctoral student at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology for her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Ebony has provided individual, group and family therapy to individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+, grief/loss and on the autistic spectrum. She has worked with children and adolescents and their families for over 15 years in a variety of settings including schools, outpatient therapy, in-home services, partial hospitalization programs, and group homes. Ebony has also worked with adults in outpatient settings including at a dual diagnosis treatment center and as a behaviorist for adults living in group homes.
Ebony has a holistic approach to therapy. She believes that each person is unique and works with her clients to tailor treatment to the needs of the individual. Ebony’s behavioral background enables her to also consider the function of behaviors. She integrates techniques from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person centered therapy and reality therapy.
