Alyssa is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family Science and Human Development, followed by her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Montclair State University.

Alyssa has experience providing therapeutic services to a variety of individuals, particularly children and adolescents, in various settings within the community. She has been working with children and adolescents for about 8 years. Alyssa’s clinical background focuses on the alleviation of difficult feelings and emotions, anxiety disorders, behavioral disorders, trauma, and a variety of other life challenges. Alyssa has experience working in crisis and is Mental Health First Aid certified.

Alyssa utilizes a creative and compassionate approach in an effort to promote healthy behavior, self-growth, and a positive outlook on life. She believes it is important to build strong initial rapport with the individuals she works with to create a safe and comfortable environment.
