Natalie is a bilingual Spanish speaking counselor who has worked with children and adolescents and families in Northern New Jersey for over 15 years. She is a licensed professional counselor and an approved clinical supervisor. Whether Natalie is working with children, adolescents or couples, her down to earth and engaging manner has helped her build relationships with people that are often experiencing difficult life stressors. She has extensive experience working clinically with high risk children and their families who experienced trauma. Natalie also provides training on a variety of topics including family systems theory, crisis intervention, self-harm, parenting, blended families and helped create a diversionary program for cyber bullying and sexting.
Natalie received her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the College of St. Elizabeth in 2002. She has provided therapy in various settings including home, office and community. She has worked with programs that provide intensive services as well as traditional weekly therapy.
Natalie creates a welcoming environment for her patients. She uses an eclectic approach to therapy incorporating strengths based work, family systems, solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has certificates in Creative Arts Therapy and Parent Education from Family Preservation Institute through Rutgers University.
